Annual Business Meeting January 30, 2008 State
of the Church Summary
-
Trinity Reformed Baptist Church of Topeka Kansas
conducted two business meetings during 2007:
-
On January 31, 2007, we
conducted our annual business meeting in
accordance with our church constitution.
During that meeting, we reviewed both receipts
and expenditures for 2006, and proposed an
annual budget for 2007. {The 2007 report is at
the lower portion of this page.}
b.
On June 20, 2007 we voted to incorporate and/or
expand our missionary-support programs as follows:
i.
Mount Zion’s Prison Ministry at $75 per month..
ii A one-time gift of $200 to the
Founder’s Ministry.
iii Crisis Pregnancy Center at $40 per
month with one initial gift of $500.
iv
Abortion Recovery Center at $40 per month
with one initial gift of $500.
v John MacArthur’s Master’s
Academy for the Italian branch at $75 per month.
vi We increased our support to the
Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America to
$200 per month.
-
The following projects
were completed in 2007:
-
We continue to
distribute sermons and tracts on the doctrines
of grace.
-
We placed our church
information in the Christian Business
Directory.
-
Established our church
website with our uploaded sermon files being
added weekly.
-
IRS tax exemption was
approved: July 17, 2006 (dated correspondence
May 31, 2007 was completed).
-
Placed our church’s name
and website on the Topeka West High School
2007-2008 Winter Sports Calendar.
-
Established an
advertisement in the Topeka Capital Journal
each Saturday in the “Devotional Guide”
section.
-
Sent Russian literature
packages to three locations in Siberia,
Russia. These packages included Russian
literature i.e. gospel tracts and booklets
were printed and mailed by Mt. Zion
Publications, Pensacola, Florida.
-
We purchased and donated
over $430 worth of clothing items to the
Topeka Rescue Mission for the Christmas
Holiday Season, and other benevolence projects
as needs arose and were worthy of our
consideration..

completed, and some are on-going series as noted:

Gleanings from the Nativity, “What Child Is
This?”

Gleanings in Deuteronomy, chapter 5
(on-going series)
-
“Examples of Motherhood” and “Examples
in Fatherhood”
-
Completed Gleanings in Esther, chapter
2 (series on-going series).
-
Gleanings in the Book of Acts,
completed chapters 1- 2 (on-going series).
-
Gleanings on Pre-millennial
Dispensationalism (on-going series), first
seven sermons.
-
“Parable of the Sower” (mini-series),
completed introduction, “Wayside Hearer” and
“Stony Ground Hearer”
-
Completed Gleanings in I John, a
defense against the Carnal Christian teaching,
(re-taught and recorded the missing first
three chapters to have the entire series for
our church website).
-
Nine Marks of a Healthy Church,
(on-going series), worked on sections on “The
Gospel”, “Conversion”, “Pictures of a
Christian”, and “The Armour of God”
-
The congregation attendance
remained steady and we had three new adult visitors to
our church this year. We continue to worship our
Lord in Spirit and in Truth, and cordially invite
others with a teachable spirit to join with us. We
remain resolute to honor our Lord and Savior and
to advance His Kingdom as He gives us opportunity.

Scheduled Business
Meeting
The Trinity Reformed Baptist Church of Topeka, Ks. on
13 Jun 07 gave thanks unto our God for the recognition
of our church by the federal government in April 07.
Also for the progress to date in this congregation and
through this website ministry. The assembly
unanimously approved the desire to advertise our
church in the local newspaper, and also the
support of five new missions projects during the forth
coming year:
-
The Abortion Recovery Center -and- Outreach
Crisis Pregnancy Center of Topeka, Ks.
-
The Master's Academy for the training of foreign
pastor-teachers in their ten homelands.
-
Mount Zion prison ministries.
-
The Founder's Ministry.
The congregation was blessed with a message on The
Exalted Suffering Savior prior to the business
meeting, and we had communion with our Lord, giving
thanks for His finished work on the cross. Amen!

of the Church Summary

Jan 07
On
14 Jun 2006, we met as a body of Christian believers
and constituted ourselves as The Trinity Reformed
Baptist Church of Topeka, Ks.
On 21 Jun 2006, we met as a congregation and
adopted the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as
our formal doctrinal statement, and in July 2006, we
finalized our church Constitution.
We are in the final phase of being recognized by the
Federal government as a 501{3] c. religious
organization.
Bob
Spagnuolo was appointed interim pulpit-fill to teach
and preach the Word of God, using the blessed
Authorized King James Version of the scriptures.
Bob
was ordained in 1979 to the gospel ministry at the
Bible Baptist Church in Minot, North Dakota.
He has fill numerous Bible Study and pulpit teaching
ministries, preaching the doctrines of
grace since his ordination.
In
August, 2006, TRBC adopted four missions’ projects
which we support monthly:
-
For
2007, we have adopted three foreign mission
works in: Carlos Paz Argentina -
Quebec, Canada -
and Kenya, Africa -
also The National Pastors’ Book
Fund for foreign missions pastors and workers.
The
various series of messages completed to date at
Trinity Reformed Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas
includes:

A
mini series to refute the doctrinal position of
Dispensationalism, showing that even now our
Lord Jesus Christ is King of Kings, and ruling
in the hearts of His people. Furthermore, that
Jesus Christ does not wait for an earthly people
to declare Him Lord during the alleged
Millennium to come.

Trinity Reformed Baptist Church of Topeka Ks. is

our church information, and an audio archieves facility, to provide you with our various worship
messages listed above. We pray they will be an
encouragement and blessing to your soul, and
that you will take time to listen and meditate
upon each one.
We
pray our God will continue to bless this ministry for
His honor and glory, and build up His kingdoms
work through these endeavors.
