I thank you for
your letter with
questions about us
and ours church. I
am now occupied with
questions of prison
service, therefore I
shall give the brief
review about us.
From us greater
problems with prison
ministering. We
since 2002 visited
prison and preached
there, the Gospel of
Grace. The Lord has
called for belief in
the Christ, some
men, and 3 of them,
now members of our
church, and one of
them, preaches the
Bible in church.
Praise to the God!
But here now
authorities of
prison, began to
interfere with our
ministering and it
is on the verge of a
stop. In Russia, as
well as within
Soviet Union, Baptists
who true to the God
and the Word Him,
secular both
religious
authorities and
doubting in the God
(atheists) people,
on former, abhor and
afflict Baptists.
Therefore to our
ministering began to
obstruct, as we
preach the Christ:
on the crucifixion,
risen, and the
future in second
time what to take
away the elites!
Because of it, an
orthodox church
categorically
against us, and it
influences prison
authorities, that
they to us would
prevent to make
there ministering.
We ask you prays for
us!
For us the most
important dialogue
with children of the
God and a pray the
friend for the
friend. Material
things will not help
with spiritual life
when it is necessary
to solve spiritual
problems. We trust
in the Sovereign the
Almighty, and we
trust, that in this
world, all things
and all events under
His control and all
is made at the
Supreme Will the
Lord!
I do not ask
money from you, the
Lord Merciful, has
trained me and my
family, it is a lot
of to be kneeling to
a throne of grace.
We know from the
Bible that: the God
glorifies more and
glorifies Him Holy
Name when He,
submits all
blessings. And the
Lord gives all
necessary to us, at
Him Sacred will, for
Him Glory and as It
is necessary for the
Lord!!! Psalm
50:14-15.
We believe in
Sovereign the Master
Which will not give
the Glory to whom!
Isaiah 42:8; 48:11.
We believe, that
the Lord can open
heavens and give us
everything, that it
will be necessary
for us for Glory of
a name of the Lord!
Therefore we ask
you prays for us and
about our service of
God. The Lord will
answer your and our
prays for Him Glory.
Then neither to you
and nor to us there
will be a praise,
but only to the
Almighty the Master
there will be all
Glory! Praise to
Jesus to the
Christ!!!
At us in church
of 50 members. The
majority are older
persons. Within the
USSR, we have been
forbidden by the
law, and Baptists
put in prisons for
faith in God.
History of church in
the USSR are years
prosecutions of
church and constant
persecutions of
Christians.
The Lord has
called me in 1983,
and I and my wife,
we prayed for
remission of sins of
ours, and
Authorities of Jesus
of the Christ have
obeyed! Praise to
the Lord!!! Till
this time, we were
usual atheists, as
the majority of the
population of
godless and
extremely guilty
Russia.
We praise and we
magnify Grace of our
God, this great
miracle: the Lord us
extreme trespassers,
force of effective
Grace, has made the
children! Praise to
the God!
At that time, for
evangelism of Grace,
put in prison for 3
years, and pastors
of church for 5
years. The Lord from
first days of my
belief, has enclosed
in my heart actively
to preach Grace of
our God. For my
active service of
God, KGB had desire
to place me in
prison, but the Lord
has kept me from
prison. and 1988 has
come to the USSR,
have declared
freedom of religion,
in connection with a
feast of 1000 of
baptism of Russia.
In the ninetieth
years, I have been
involved in
missionary
ministering and
participated in the
organization more
than 20 new churches
across Siberia.
Praise to the God!
Since 1995, the
Lord has blessed to
begin new church of Baptists
in the city of Irrupts,
and I have been
selected by the
pastor of this new
church.
Till 1990, I was
on an Armenian
position in
divinity. Alas... In
Russia the union of
Gospel Christians of
Baptists are extreme
Armenians. They
believe in rescue on
their own belief and
on their
beneficences. They
do not believe in
Grace of the God.
They speak about
grace, but under
these mean their
beneficences. And if
they will sin, they
believe, that lose
rescue. Alas...
Alas... It happens
because of mixture
of the unions:
Gospel Christians
who - Armenians, and
Baptists - who Calvinists,
but pastors of Baptists
till 1944,
communists of all
have shot. As, Baptists
were strong in the
doctrine their
communists and
killed more likely,
and gospel Christians,
were and is -
liberals, and went
on deviation from
the Biblical
doctrine for a
gratification to
authorities.
Therefore they were
kept in the majority
and in 1945 have
united these unions
and Armenians has
borrowed in divinity
leading position.
The Lord is true
to the Promises! The
Lord has blessed me
and many brothers to
investigate the
bible and to read
books of puritans,
and we send to
belief in doctrines
of Grace. Praise to
the God!
Pastors Armenians
- began to not love
for it us. In 1999
we have got many
books the Baptist
Confession 1689, and
it has served
awakening us. Per
2003, we in our
church have lead a
radical reform, and
have completely
changed doctrinal
statement, having
accepted doctrines
of Grace. It has
caused greater
spiritual struggle.
At us in 2001 was
134 members of
church. In 2001 we
have based new
church in other area
of city of Irkutsk.
Now there 25 members
of church, and they
as well as we,
believe in doctrines
of Grace. Spiritual
war for trues of the
Bible, has ended
with division in our
church, many not
obeying to the
Biblical doctrine,
have left our
church, and have
gone there where
bring glory to the
person and him to
affairs, to Armenian
churches. Alas...
These churches today
are friends of
orthodox churches,
have " pictures
with images of the
God ", that is
categorically
forbidden by the
Word God's. In 2006
in January, we have
left the union of
Gospel Christians of
Baptists, and
together with us 10
more churches across
Siberia. Now we
independent churches
of Baptists of
sovereign Grace!
Praise to the God!
We have 5 ministering
on one week: on
Tuesdays, we with
brothers gather for
studying the Bible
and we pray for our
service of God. On
Wednesdays, we have
studying the Bible
for all church, on
Thursdays, we visit
prison, on Fridays
at us church prayful
ministering, on
Sundays, on morning,
we worship God, and
in the evening,
youth ministering
and visitation of
elderly brothers and
sisters on their
houses. And every
day weeks, each
member of church (on
how many the God
gives forces and
opportunities), is
involved in personal
evangelization.
As I, often visit
other churches of Baptists
of Grace in other
cities of Siberia.
Distances from city
up to other city, at
us very much
greater. Our Irkutsk
area has the sizes
about the state
France.
To me of 46
years, my wife
Tatyana - 42 years,
at us 7 children,
senior son Sasha -
24 years, is he
already married, and
to the younger son
to Michael - 7
years, he in it to
year will go to
school. At us 4 sons
and 3 daughters.
