A Complete Study of First John

A Critique of the Carnal Christian Heresy

The Blessed Assurances for the Christian

Much of the Scripture reads as a matter of fact, and a casual reading of it much of the time does not reveal the riches of its meaning.  This study of The Epistle of First John has a great deal of relevance to all Christians, and the riches they possess in Christ Jesus their Lord.

As this study unfolds verse by verse, we will be amazed at the depth of the spiritual nuggets of truth that will bless our souls. These messages will lead us in paths of righteousness as the Apostle John intended for them to do.

You will note by the titles of each of these messages that there is much spiritual guidance for the Christians in this present age of apostasy - a falling away from scriptural truth. Each message go into depth concerning our spiritual responsibilities to our Lord and Saviour. Many churches and religious organizations  never get to the meat of the Word that exhorts and admonishes a sinner to turn from his or her sins and live a life of holiness after their conversion. These evidences are called "Good Works"  and they are actually  mentioned numerous times throughout the entire gospel of Jesus Christ. We are admonished in scripture to "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" 2 Corinthians 13:5.

There are numerous persons professing to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, yet there is no evidences that new life has taken place in their lives. They have a profession, but no evidences that they actually possess the God Man as the Lord of their lives.  Their daily conduct of their lives are no different than before their acceptance of a few historical facts about the Son of God or scriptural references concerning Him. This in reality is not regeneration - it is a Carnal Christian heresy!

These message have scores of supporting scriptural references to awaken our hearts to our Christian responsibilities, and how to walk daily with our Lord in paths of holiness. Join with us in this revealing study to the profit of your soul. Take your Bible in hand as we go verse by verse to explore the riches of the Epistle of First John.

"Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen"  Hebrews 13:20-21.
