And the scripture, foreseeing that
God would justify the heathen through faith,
preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In
thee shall all nations be blessed. Even as Abraham
believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which
are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye
Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Gal 3:6-8 & 29. They
which are the children of the flesh, these are not
the children of God: but the children of the
promise are counted for the seed. Rom 9:8. Now
we,
brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of
promise. Gal 4:28. The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children
of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs
of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with Him, that we may be also
glorified together. Rom 8:16-17. For through Him we
both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the
household of God. Eph 2:18-19. Who
gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from
all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar
people, zealous of good works. Tts 2:14. Know ye
not that ye are the
temple
of
God
, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1
Cr 3:16. For we are the circumcision, which
worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ
Jesus. Phil 3:3. And as many as walk according to
this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon
the
Israel
of God. Gal 6:16. But ye are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light: Which in time past were
not a people, but are now the people of God:
which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained
mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers
and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which
war against the soul1 Pet 2: 9-11. Hearken, my
beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the
poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs
of the kingdom which He hath promised to them that
love Him. Jam
2:5. But
as many as received Him, to them gave He power to
become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on His name: John 1:12. Him that overcometh
will I make a pillar in the temple of My God,
and he shall go no more out: and I will write
upon him the name of M God, and the name of the city
of My God, which is > New Jerusalem, which
cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will
write upon him My new name.
Rev 3:12.
And I John saw the holy city, New
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband. Rev
21:2. There
remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:9.
But ye are come unto
mount
Sion
, and unto the city of the living God, the Heavenly
Jerusalem
, and to an innumerable company of angels, To
the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of
all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.
Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins
in His own blood, And hath made us kings and
priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory
and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:6.
The
Apostles: Paul, Peter, James, and John are all in
agreement as each has written above. We can not add
to nor subtract from what the Holy Spirit has lead
these apostles to write. Do you believe the Word of
God that believers in our Lord Jesus Christ has
finished His atoning work on the cross of Calvary,
and that we are the Possessors of all the above
titles? Believers that have true faith and
obedience in our risen Lord Jesus Christ are
possessors of these precious possessions at this
very moment. We do not wait for a supposed millennium
kingdom, for Christ is at present King of Kings and
Lord of Lords, reigning in each believers heart and
life at this very moment. Let
your life and conduct show forth this new life in Christ
Jesus or Lord and Savior. Amen!
